Directions for Fody’s Low-FODMAP Ranch Beef Burgers
- To start your low-FODMAP ranch burgers, add beef, egg, ketchup, ranch seasoning, salt, and pepper to a large mixing bowl. Gently mix until just incorporated, and avoid over-mixing the homemade hamburger mixture. Divide into 6 patties. With a spoon or with your fingers, gently make a shallow dent in the top of each burger to prevent it becoming puffed up during cooking.
- Heat a large skillet on medium heat, then add Fody’s shallot-infused extra-virgin olive oil. Note: you may need to cook your low-FODMAP ranch burgers in batches, based on how large your pan is. Add the homemade burger patties to the pan, then cook them for 3-5 minutes per side. Transfer the patties to a plate and allow them to rest for a few minutes.
- Meanwhile, add all your Tangy Sauce ingredients to a small bowl and mix thoroughly. Top each bun bottom with spring mix, your burger patty, sauce, tomato, and pickles. All that’s left to do is enjoy!
